Dharmendra is the author of “Master Guide to Arbitration in India” (Wolters Kluwer) and is a General Counsel of the Delhi High Court Arbitration Centre (DAC).
He is a Barrister-at-Law from Lincoln’s Inn (London) and obtained his LL.M.(Commercial and Corporate Laws) from the London School of Economics and Political Science, University of London and his LL.B from the University of Delhi. He also holds a B.A. (Hons) in Political Science from Hindu College at University of Delhi.
Dharmendra is a Member of Singapore Institute of Arbitrators, Lincoln’s Inn, Supreme Court Bar Association, International Bar Association and Swiss Arbitration Association. He has several publications under his belt and has in the past represented a major Korean construction company in proceedings for execution of an ICC award for USD 7 million before the High Court of Delhi; represented a major South Korean Engineering & Construction company in dispute arising out of construction of National Highway Project in arbitration under the SIAC Rules in Singapore in claims for USD 120 million and also represented a Swiss Bank before the High Court of Delhi for enforcement of an ICC award.
